Accommodations

We feature a select few here, chosen from our own experiences and as such, offer services of a very high standard. Each is registered with and approved by the Irish Tourist Board. They pride themselves on their friendly atmosphere and idyllic settings—generally close to pubs, shops, restaurants and other amenities.

All accommodations include breakfast and all rooms have their own bathroom (en-suite) facilities.

HOTELS

The majority of hotels in Ireland have three grades of room: Standard, Deluxe, and Suites. All quotations provided by O'Shea Travel will include standard room rates and deluxe or suite accommodation can be provided upon request. Standard rooms normally have standard size beds (either two singles or a double). Deluxe rooms usually have a queen size bed and a suite will typically have a King size bed. This can vary with different accommodations. In order to secure a preferred-size room or bed, you'll need to inform us when booking.

3 STAR HOTELS

Three-star hotels range from small, family run premises to larger, modern hotels. Hotels provide full bar and restaurant facilities. Examples

4 STAR HOTELS

Contemporary hotels of excellent quality and charming period houses renovated to very high standards. All modern comforts are provided. Restaurant facilities provide excellent cuisine and service for the discerning diner. Examples

5 STAR HOTELS

Ranging from elegant, stately castles to prestigious country clubs and top-class city hotels. Exceptional service and personalized welcome are the norm in these hotels. Examples

GUESTHOUSE ACCOMMODATION

A guesthouse is a private home where some bedrooms are available for guest accommodation. You will usually be welcomed and served by a member of the host family. All guesthouses provide en-suite facilities in each bedroom. Examples

LUXURY COUNTRY HOUSE ACCOMMODATION

Many of Ireland's country manors have been converted to small, intimate hotels. These premises can be considered as small guesthouses though many will provide full bar facilities. The emphasis is on personal attention, fine cuisine, and superb ambience in an old-world atmosphere. Examples
